With this year's very late catalog, you will see that most prices have stabilized. There have been some increases in some nails and some other isolated products, so you need to check carefully. The Australian nail company has stopped production but we are happy to announce the Vector nail as a replacement choice that is being received very well. There are, of course, some issues with keeping supplied with both Werkman shoes and Simonds products this year, but we are seeing some improvements finally.
Montague Blacksmith Supply is a complete farrier supply house. We are constantly striving to offer the finest service in addition to all the many valuable products to help today's horseshoer. MBS is also expanding, whenever possible, our tools, steel, and other items for the decorative blacksmith.
This year's catalog includes item code numbers for all the products. We are hoping that this feature will help when ordering items that have names that are similar or confusing. Also, we ask when placing orders that you try to place them as early in the day as possible. This allows us, especially on very busy days, to have ample time to correctly pull and pack your order. We realize, too, that there will be add-ons after placing the original order. Please try and understand that depending on what is added and the time of day, that we may not be able to get it into the original order and invoice. An extra box may be necessary and this will incur extra shipping costs. Please know, also, that we try to package items carefully and if you should find a problem with any items broken or missing, you need to contact us as soon as possible. It is advisable to open your packages as soon as you receive them. We do accept returns, with a restocking fee, provided the items are returned within 30 days of purchase, and are in original, saleable condition.
Montague Blacksmith Supply ships usually with UPS the same day if orders are received prior to 2:00pm. Please ask us about our quantity breaks on multiple cases of shoes and nails. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also deliver in various areas on a regular schedule-so please ask, we may be able to serve you in that way. Finally, with all the products in our industry today, it's difficult to stock all of them. We try very hard to stay current with the latest products, but if you don't see something listed, please ask. If we don't have it, we will make every effort to get it for you.
